In 2008, a hurricane hit Sainte Marie island and ruined an major part of Zazakely’s constructions. A lot of restoration work has been undertaken to prevent the high risk of storms and ensure orphans lives. More than 14 hardwall buildings appeared : office, kitchen, refectory, classroom, dormitories, clinic, toilets, showers, and bungalows for tourists.

Jean Luc and Pascal wanted to support these projects financing different buildings. Besides the construction of a new place for oldest children, the two entrepreneurs wished for ensuring safe water access to the inhabitants.
